[Stereo Madness Cover]

Clipping is too much. Use a limiter.

Aside from that and the default FL Studio drums (which I'm not gonna comment on because I use them sometimes as well), this is a good remix. Nice work. I like the 8-Bit and guitar sounds. But it is a bit repetitive.

I made this back when I didn't pay much attention to music quality, and today my skills aren't that good, but certainly better than back when I posted this. I'm not too crazy about creating music, but I enjoy making a small piece every now and then.
I figured out eventually a while back how to install .wav files to FL Studio, so I have no intention of using the default drums anymore without a decent reason.

This track is excellent! It only seems to use two instruments for the entire thing, and yet it's incredibly catchy. Fantastic job! I just had to buy the 7 minute version on Bandcamp. The fact that nobody else bought it and yet it got so popular on here is sad. Again, great job on this. You deserve the purchase and the five stars.

I love the sidechain and the lead is great! It's a bit short though, and not that much seemed to be going on during the drop. Still, pretty cool. :D

Holy...

This is AMAZING! I played the crap out of Super Mario Galaxy, and hearing this was like a nostalgia bomb. The beginning was absolutely beautiful. Stardust Road was one of my favorites from the OST (I bought it :P), and it worked perfect as a beginning to this. All the sound effects were fine - they didn't sound exactly like the original, but I feel like that actually adds to it in some strange way. Huh. Anyways, mixing chiptune with orchestral was a brilliant idea. It completely worked in the song. The flute performance was amazing - tell Laura she did a good job! :P Overall, my favorite track covered here would have to be Gusty Garden Galaxy. I'm not sure why. It probably has to do with me liking the original song a lot.

I'm not even sure what else to say, really. This was an incredible job for just two days of work. Stuff I make takes weeks and I don't think I could even match this level of awesome ever. After listening to this, I've decided that I'm going to download Harmony of Heroes. Maybe I'll discover some more great tracks like this. Besides, I've been wanting to try and challenge myself with remixing songs for the original 12 Smash characters - maybe this will inspire me to actually go ahead and do it, lol.

Anyways, great job. This is going in my favorites.

There is definitely a wealth of amazing music in Harmony of Heroes, and in its expansion, Final Smash. I really can't recommend it enough.

Stardust Road is one of the underdogs of the Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack, I believe. Not very well-known, but an absolute gem.

Gusty Garden Galaxy, on the other hand, is one of the more iconic tracks of the soundtrack. Still really awesome, and I think it's one of the main reasons I felt compelled to write this medley. I love that theme so much.

Thanks once again for the review, it brightened up my day! And don't ever doubt your own musical skills. The first step towards improvement is realising that you have the capability to do so. Plus, I took a listen to your audio and loved what I heard!

[The Seven Seas Remake [F-777]]

How the heck did you recreate the main lead saw at the drop so well? It sounds almost identical to the original! No seriously, how did you do that? That's really impressive, and just for that I'm gonna add another half a star to this review. :P

Anyways, this is a great cover of the original! When I bought the Pirate Dance Machine album, this song was one of my favorites. :D

Only complaints?

The mixing and mastering could be better, some of the sounds seemed to be missing, and the violin felt a bit cheap. That's it though. Aside from those problems, this is a pretty awesome cover. Nice work. :D

I'd love to see you cover other F-777 songs as well! Maybe Mr. Coffee (from Ludicrous Speed) or Nintendo Smash (from Press Start)?

@PianoreGD Because this is a cover, so he was forced to put it at that. I'm pretty sure you can still use it in GD though.

The saw lead was actually quite simple. It's actually a mix between a saw and pulse. After that I just made it slide a tiny bit and it makes the sound you hear. It sounds a little bit different when it's not mixed in with everything else. If you'd like, I can make a tutorial on it :)

I didn't focus too much on mixing and mastering. I did this in about 4 hours, and just for fun. I originally wasn't going to upload it here, but I ended up doing it.

The sounds that are missing are probably the bass, most of the time. I didn't really add tons of bass because I didn't think it needed it much. There's also a synth that comes in at some parts of the song which I didn't notice until I uploaded it here. Looking back on both of them, I could have done better recreating them, I was a bit short on time though.

I got the violins from EWQLSO, which is a very high quality sound library. If I had done some more EQ-ing it might have sounded better. Also, I added a staccato note at the beginning of each note, which may be the cause of it sounding cheap. I probably could have made the note less noticeable or chosen a different staccato, but at the time it sounded okay to me. I think I intended to change it, but forgot in the end.

I could probably do some remakes sometime soon, but I'm working on a few other projects and school is taking it's toll, so it might take a while.

Thanks for the in-depth review. I really enjoy reading these and seeing how I can become better. It helps me pick out what I did wrong and what I could do better :)

Woah, this is INCREDIBLE.

The melodies are fantastic, the drums are awesome (they could be just a little quieter though), and the mixing is really well done. The intro was beautiful. It's so well done! It doesn't take forever, either, which is a good thing. The mastering's pretty good, too.

The lead at the drop is awesome. What VST did you use? I'm gonna have to try it. :O

Overall, this is a fantastic track. Great job! You've earned a favorite and a follow. :D
