Not bad! Better than your previous work. I like the synths. Nice clapsnare, by the way. Mix is decent, but I think I heard some distortion at 1:35. You might want to avoid that. At 1:42 there's something about the mix that kind of throws me off, but I can't quite but my finger on it, so I'll ignore it. I like the little chiptune-ish synths, by the way.

I really like that drop at 3:16, but I feel like the pause before it was just a little too long, at least, for my taste. In my opinion the snares at 4:14 are alright but I think it'd be cooler if they were fading in with a low pass filter.

The melodic dubstep stuff you did in the last drop (at least, if you can call it that) is pretty nice, but a couple times the synths got kind of obnoxious. I feel like that the breaks at 4:52 and 4:58 should have a little fill right before the music starts again, but that's just my preference.

I like the slowdown ending, but it would be really cool if you did a tapestop-ish thing at the end. Just an idea, though.

Overall I like it! It kept me listening and never did I feel like it was dragging on or that I was getting bored. Nice work!

EtzerGD responds:

Thanks for the advice! Definitely agree with just about everything you said there, probably could've fine tuned those parts a bit more.
Thanks!

This is incredible. What would really make this track is vocals, but obviously it's hard for a lot of people to find vocalists, so I'm not going to knock off stars for that. Aside from that though, this is really amazing. The melody at 1:47 and 3:06 are my favorites, by far. Something about them is so memorable. The drums are incredibly well done, too. The melodic dubstep stuff you did in the second drop is really good, and gives it a nice feel. The ending is superb, too.

Overall, this track is amazing. By far my favorite by you. Amazing job.

Falsesouth responds:

<3 This is what I needed to confirm. Utilizing/recording vocals is one of my current objectives.

I wanted to get vocals but I also wanted to push this track out fast.

Plus, I don't have much experience with mixing in vocals so I think that is my next step. Keep an eye out ;)

So incredible. I have no words. Never stop making music, please.

DJStriden responds:

Thank you so much! I'll never stop! ^_^ Unless I die D:

I love this. Has that QJrocks sound to it! Nice work as always. End feels a little sudden but that's really it. Mixing is great, by the way!

QJrocks responds:

Thanks for the review!

Yeah, after working on this I just wanted it to be done so I kinda rushed the end a bit. Oh well.

Oh man! This is cool! I love the little blank spaces in the intro. The way the song progresses sounds really cool. This kind of reminds me of ParagonX9. Was that intentional?

The clipping is annoying, though...

TheSharkBite responds:

Thanks! I didn't really think about ParagonX9, but yeah!

It's sad that to get noticed anymore you have to mention "Geometry Dash" in the title of your song. The fanbase has really wrecked the audio portal. Anyways, this isn't bad. But it feels bland, and it's also a bit short. I like the drop, though! That was neat. I like the wobble, but it's a bit abrupt when it comes in. Nice bells, by the way. They really work in the song. Nice work, and keep it up.

TheSharkBite responds:

Thanks man!

wth is this

i love it 10/10

Keep it up dude! Can't wait to hear the full version.

Delcherro responds:

thx :D

That little scratchy sound? That's what's known as CLIPPING. Getting your songs mastered will fix that instantly. You should know this already. Clipping ruins your chances of getting into labels, winning contests, and it's also extremely grating. Whatever, you know it now.

Aside from that, this is pretty good. It stays true to the original and overall feels nice. Sound design is very good too! Just master your songs next time, or at the very least put a limiter on them. Either one will get rid of the clipping.

DJ-Zyzyx responds:

I tried a limiter. I think it's the EQ. Frequency is too high or something D:

@Mynok So because a specific few parts of the song were boring, that warrants one star? I don't get your logic.

Anyways, this is very good! The piano works with the synth very nicely. Nice work! I especially like the new synth at 1:27. I feel like the mixing could be improved a bit though.

Poosac responds:

thnx man :D

The Beethoven Challenge sounds cool. Sometime I should try it.

Overall this is very good! I really like it! The electronic part is pretty cool, too. I love it! :D Definitely faved!

Phyrnna responds:

Thanks! I took a risky gamble on the electronic part xD

Sometimes I like to press buttons that make sounds.
