I actually don't have any real complaints with this one. It's well done and camlm. I like it. Short and sweet. Feels like it'd work in a game somewhere.

I might have already asked this, but what are you using on your iPad to write music? I might have a couple suggestions on other audio DAWs for you to check out.

QJrocks responds:

I'm glad you liked it! :D

I use Music Studio for iPad (also for iPhone, but I don't compose there) to make my songs.

Some of the notes felt kinda off, but aside from that, this was really good! Nice job!

Oh. My. Gosh. I don't even like dubstep, but this is INCREDIBLE. Amazing work! Everything is mixed well, the mastering feels just right, and the drop was awesome! Awesome job. Take these five stars - you've earned them.

Cool! I like it. Reminds me of Waterflame. Mastering and mixing could use work, but aside from that I think it's pretty good.

It doesn't really feel loud enough. It could use some mastering.

The delay effects were used a bit too much, and some of the instruments could have been more well chosen. For me, it actually felt like the song was varying between happy and dramatic, especially around the end. I don't know why, it just felt that way.

The ending felt incomplete for some reason. Also, it didn't sound like it was very high quality. Is this 192kbs? The "rriiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggg" sound at 00:45 could have done without the reverb/delay effect (I can't really tell if it's either), and lastly, the mixing is pretty odd (some of the instruments are way too loud and need compression).

It's got potential to be a good track, but these flaws are what ruined it for me. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm bashing on your work - I understand you must have spent a lot of time on this and you must have worked very hard on it. I just want to provide some criticism for you to use, that's all. You do this all the time with my tracks. :P

QJrocks responds:

You do raise some valid points.

Something that really worried me was when I previewed this on my computer, it had quite a few differences from an iPad with headphones, so that may be the cause of some problems.

Really? You thought is was too quiet? And here I thought that it was too blaringly loud...

Yeah, sometimes I felt I didn't know what direction I was taking the song in, either, but by that tine I had already put too much work into it to scrap it.

Yep, it is 192kb/s, but I don't understand why you say that this one sounds low quality while many of my other tracks use 192 or even 128 kb/s. There is an option for 328 kb/s (or somewhere around that), should I be using that?

I agree, some instruments were a bit loud, especially the xylophone around 1:50. I tried reducing tge volume a bit, but I didn't want it to get so quiet that it couldn't be heard.

Don't worry, this wasn't anywhere near bashing. You raised valid points and gave what you thought was a fair score. Neither one of us would get anywhere if we had review sections full of Yes Men :P

I really like this. It's fun and fast-paced. The vocals are pretty good, too. Only complaint is that overall it doesn't seem as loud as it could be (I'd recommend getting it mastered). Keep it up man!

Thanks for the advice and feedback! :D

This is actually really good. Nice work!

Don't steal songs. Nobody likes it and it's just plain rude.

Wait, you already made a song called Dreamscape? DARN IT! I promise I didn't try to copy you with my song! I didn't even know this existed!

Anyways, this is really neat! It has this nice, dreamy feel too it without ever getting too relaxing or too upbeat. I like it. It sounds like it could be used in a winter level in a game! Nice job as always.

I'm not listening through any headphones - only iPad speakers, so I can't give you any feedback on the panning of your audio. Anyways, to be totally honest, I don't really like dubstep. But man, this was good! Only complaint is that the mix is a little weird, and I could tell you used some pre-made loops. I'm gonna let the loop thing slide though, because it's not what you used, but how you used it. And I say you used it pretty well. Overall a very nice track. I like it. Keep it up!

Tagiito responds:

Thanks for the in-depth review! I'd say take another listen with headphones, its another experience!
When it comes to "loops" most of the dubstep parts were either loops or samples with maybe 10% being made originally. I pride myself in composition, rather than making dubstep. All synths were made from scratch mostly from Harmor, Nexus, Massive and Sylenth1.
Anyways, Thanks for giving me a thought out review rather than a one word review! Haha
4.5/5 star review. :P

Sometimes I like to press buttons that make sounds.
